🥇Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy took first place in the Boss and Subordinate categories of the Resident Evil 30th Anniversary fan poll.

📌 Boss Category
• Chris Redfield ranked 1st. Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 5 received the most votes among his appearances.

• Jill Valentine ranked 3rd, with most votes going to her Resident Evil 3 Remake version.

• Ada Wong ranked 4th. Her Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 2 versions got the most votes, and the article suggests that Separate Ways may have helped boost support for RE:4 Ada.

• Claire Redfield ranked 5th.

• Marvin Branagh ranked 6th.

📌 Subordinate Category
• Leon S. Kennedy ranked 1st. Unlike the Top 10 Heroes category, where he also ranked 1st and his RE2 Remake and RE4 Remake versions were nearly tied, the Subordinate category leaned heavily toward his rookie version.

• Claire Redfield ranked 4th.

• Rebecca Chambers ranked 6th. The article points to her role as a S.T.A.R.S. medic and her appearances beyond the games as possible reasons for her support.

• Sherry Birkin ranked 7th, with Resident Evil 6 narrowly beating Resident Evil Requiem in votes.

• Ingrid Hunnigan ranked 9th.

📊 Leon and Wesker’s Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Poll stats.

• 20–29 years old are by far the biggest group for both Leon and Wesker.
• Men voted for both characters more than women in every age group.
• Leon and Wesker have particularly strong support among women aged 20–29.
• Both characters are also very popular among voters aged 30–39.
• Support drops sharply after age 40.
• Teen voters make up a noticeable but much smaller share.
• Wesker’s male audience is more dominant than Leon’s.

🪓 In this survey, Leon received support from every age group. Among the heroes, he has served as the protagonist in the greatest number of titles in the canonical series, with six games. This may also have contributed to his popularity. He is also the character whose progression in age over the course of the story is the most clearly apparent.

😈 Although his story as a villain came to a conclusion in “Resident Evil 5,” he has continued to appear in recent titles such as “Resident Evil RE:4.” His position as the series’ representative villain still appears to be secure.
