当初Ubisoft公开《Prince of Persia：The Sands of Time》重制版时，只表示游戏仅会登陆PC、PS4、以及Xbox One。但是曾经有法国亚马逊网站泄露了关于《Prince of Persia：The Sands of Time》重制版即将推出Switch版本的消息，虽然那个消息还未被证实，如今又有网站增强了这个谣言的真实性。

在之前的UbiForward中，Ubisoft公布了多款让玩家期待的游戏，其中一款就是《Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake》。这是由Ubisoft发行《波斯王子：时之砂》（Prince of Persia：The Sands of Time）的第三人视角的动作冒险游戏地重制版。游戏原定于2021年1月21日登陆PS4、Xbox One和PC平台，不过近日，官方在Twitter发文告表示，游戏将会延期发售。
