《The Lord of the Rings: Gollum》开发商Daedalic Entertainment官方推特在今日宣布游戏延迟发布。游戏原本预订的发布日期为9月1日，官方这次在公告中至表示发布将会推迟几个月，而确切日期会在之后公开。

Daedalic Entertainment在2020年8月公开的《魔戒》系列新作《The Lord of the Rings: Gollum》已经公布在Steam商店页面了，其中包含游戏介绍内容与几张研发中游戏画面。

在2019年3月，德国游戏开发商Daedalic Entertainment曾公布他们正制作一款以Gollum来展开的《The Lord of the Rings: Gollum》，游戏正是改编至英国著名小说家J.R.R. Tolkien原著小说《The Lord of the Rings》。现在游戏释出了首次实机画面截图，我们所熟悉的Gollum在阴暗的Mordor区域中进行冒险。
