官方表示因为Kojima Productions内部一位员工确诊患上新冠病毒，于是决定暂时关闭游戏工作室，并安排所有员工在家工作以及密切关注全体员工的健康状况等措施。为了让员工能够适应在家办公的状况，于是官方忍痛公布《Death Stranding》PC版延迟推出的消息。
