由HBO独家开播的《The Last of Us》真人影集在推出后迎来了玩家好评，在前几天官方还宣布将会推出第二季。就在今天Naughty Dog在Twitter发出一个讣闻，表示《The Last of Us》游戏中饰演泰丝（Tess）的女演员Annie Wersching不幸因癌症离世，享年45岁「安妮永远会留存在我们的心中、记忆中」，同时分享了一个捐款渠道来帮助Annie的家人。

安妮在2020年夏天被诊断出患有癌症，除了演员身份外，她同时也是3个孩子的母亲。Naughty Dog总裁Neil也发文悼念安妮，并晒出当时游戏制作时的合影。「我想念我那愚蠢的好友，是她帮助泰斯重获新生。安妮，你太早离开了我们，你将永远是《The Last of Us》和Naughty Dog家庭的一员！」
